Anyway, I tried to change my Blog Theme… but they all seemed too shiny.  So I decided to stick with this strange-looking one.  I kinda liked the Christmas one because I think it should be christmas year round, with real elves and Santa Claus and everything.  Otaku would like that.  It would be like some fucked up anime.  Actually I saw one recently, can’t remember the name.  But it was about this boy and he met this girl, who turned out to be like a lady Santa Claus.  And she rode him on her sleigh (no it’s not a goddamned allegory) she put her boobs in his face while they were in the sky… really messed up stuff.  But I watch it, which shows how messed up I am. I think I want some girls to put her boobs in my face while we ride on ANYTHING in the sky ya know?

Anyway, I am here to post again I think.  I said that before, but I keep changing my mind…

I don’t work for animefood anymore, because animefood is dead or something.  I talk to Rodrian periodically, she tells me about this whole Jrock music thing she is writing about now.  Kinda interesting, and kinda weird if you ask me.  I mean dudes dressing up in silk ball gowns with spiky hair and eyelashes and lipstick and foundation and eyeshadow.  I mean for real?  I know there was glam rock and all, but the men were still kinda man-like, ya know.  Even David bowie so don’t even mention him… fuckers…

So I intend to keep writing about otaku stuff, and delve into this thing called Visual Kei to see whats it all about.  I mean if it’s really that fucking cool and nifty, i won’t have a lot to flame about, and if it’s not cool… beware fuckers, your time has come.

I’ve always wondered about Pocky. Especially this one. MEN”S POCKY. what the hell were they Japanese thinking? Or what were the Translators thinking? I can’t speak a nipple of Japanese, so I dun know if it is translated right. But Men’s Pocky? and it looks like A MANS POCKY. >.<

I really hate the name. But I really like the pocky. Men’s pocky tastes better than the milk chocolate one. It’s less sweet. Maybe hat’s why it’s for guys. I mean, guys typically don’t like super sweet shit. or do they? I don’t. But according to most people, if you took a survey of guys I shouldn’t be counted in it since I am beyond asshole.

Pocky is fattening as hell. That’s prolly why we have so many overweight anime watchers. They sit there eating pocky all day long and shit thinking that they are really doing something AMAZING! “LOOK DUDE I AM EATING POCKY NOW I AM JAPANESE!” that’s dumb as hell. I bet Japanese people don’t even eat as much pocky as we do. maybe they do. But they don’t seem to be treating it like it’s some kind of God and shit.

I can’t tell you how many times I been to a store where they have pocky and I see Otaku’s gathering around it like it’s a shrine to fuckin buddha. “all praise the Pocky God.” What’s even more ludicrous is that if an anime person hasn’t had pocky before, another Otaku will say something like “YOU HAVEN’T HAD POCKY BEFORE?” which is dumb as hell. firstly, how many Japanese people you know have eaten an Almond Joy or a Babe Ruth? Just cuz people watch anime and shit don’t mean that they pray to the pocky god…. damn.

You know what? it’s prolly better that they don’t eat the shit because it is fattening as hell! I mean look at this shit. 15% fat in 20 sticks. 30% saturated fat 11% Carbs 14g of suger in just 20 sticks. If you eat a box or two you might as well go eat a hamburger at McDonalds and shit. AT least you might get a FEW vitamins out of it and not feel like you wanna tvomit your stomach out from eating too much damned suger and fat and carbs. FUCK!

I mean, I admit to being an Otaku and all. And I eat it and shit. But damn. I mean should I? I went to ACEN with Rodrian this past weekend, and is it me? or did Otaku’s get fatter? Ramen is another thing that is fattening as hell. I just remembered because we saw some Ramen peoples walking around… dressed as Ramen. I’ll post about that some other time.

Anyway. The point of this post is that A) they need to change the name of Men’s Pocky. It spawns too many Yaoi Jokes. And B) there need to be a movie called Pocky Size me, going through the ills of anime people sitting on their asses eating pocky all day long. I’m not fat. but if I keep eating the food that anime peeps say is real food… then I will be fat as hell. But maybe I’ll be less of an asshole too.

Tokyo Drift Movie is Shit Movie! I was watching this movie again on T.V. the other night, and I realized something. All the “Japanese” people in the movie are actually protrayed as real assholes. I mean really. I dun know what Japanese person that has seen this movie walks away feeling like “yeah… that movie was the bomb. As we all already know there isn’t really any real Japanese people playing the part of the Japanese Stars! what the fuck. Personally, I would protest and shit. Anyway, lets down to the basics shall we?

So this dumb ass hick named brandon gets in trouble in his town for racing. First of all, the fucker can;t really race for shit. I mean the asshole crashes for christs sake in the first reel of the movie. So this dude has to go to Tokyo… and the fucker is complaining about it… OH SHIT DUDE I FEEL REAL SORRY FOR YOU. So he goes over there with his dad who lives in a shitty ass apartment. Tiny as hell. So maybe that’s not so abnormal. But his father is a real dickhead.

Brandon has to go to school and he has to take his shoes off. Now to any Gaijin who thinks that Japanese people are weird, this little “shoe off” will make people think they are weirder. SHIT THEY HAVE TO TAKE THEIR SHOES OFF AT SCHOOL!!! WTF!. this movies is shit… I’m telling the fuckin truth.

So Mr. Hick ends up hooking up with other Gaijin at the school. A black dude that goes around selling shit that he got off a train of a plane or something…. I dun even know where he got the shit. But it’s stupid as hell… It’s bad enough people always think black people are selling stolen shit all the time… and now they do it in Japan too. So Little Bow wow takes Brandon to an underground place where they party and race all the time. the place in a parking lot. There are hot Japanese chicks all over the place. I mean HOT AS HELL. so that part of the movie was the only good part. The cars were tricked out, the music was coool. Shit, I wish I was there right now.

Anyway, I want to boil this movie down instead of telling the whole fucking thing. Brandon makes the Drift King dude pissed… the dude is supposed to be Japanese he hates Gaijin but he’s got a Gaijin girlfriend. his best friend is also a Gaijin (Chinese)… Hell everybody in the fucking movie is a Gaijin. So anyway, the Drift King’s uncle is a Yakuza. OH MY GOD ANOTHER BAD JAPANESE DUDE! and I forgot to mention that the shit head father had some prostitute lady coming from his house… and she was Japanese too.

So basically, all the Japanese people in this movie were either gangsters, assholes, or prostitutes. what the fuck. And what happens at the end of this movie? The white guy gets the Gaijin girl (steals her from the Japanese guy), the uncle tells his nephew to race against the Gaijin, and when the nephew loses he kinda smiles and is like oh well (Sonny Chiba looked cool and pimped out and all but shit…. this movie still sucks) The white dude wins in the race against the drift king and everyone… even all the Japanese People are fucking cheering because this americajin wins. and now he is the new drift king! Then Vin Diesel shows up at the end like “yeah, lets race” and shit.

So the Gaijins Win and the Japanese lose…. what a load of shit this movie was. I might not be Japanese but the whole premise of the movie was annoying as hell! And, it only pushes sterotypes. I have Otaku friends that think they are going to go there and meet these girls that are shaking their asses and driving pimped out cars. they think that people be racing on the streets like NASCAR, and meeting some real life anime characters while they are at it!

Listen losers! The movie is shit. It’s not like that over in Japan. Every Japanese dude isn’t going to be jealous of some Gaijin, whether they are white, Mexican or Black. They aren’t going to be calling the yakuza on you. AND THERE ISN’T ANYONE RACING IN THE BUSIEST INTERSECTION OF JAPAN! known as Shibuya… what the hell. their asses would be in jail… no, their asses would be gone… shit.

So kiddies, the moral of this dumb ass movie is that Gaijin are the heros. Just look at the dumb ass picture. get my drift?

so yeah. I finally got Yo. i got him kinda… well you’ll see. i didn’t get to take any pictures tho because he was sleeping his ass off. i went to his house and we played halo and shit until like 4 in the morning. i started getting real sleepy so I decided it was time to go. I’m not one of those dudes who like crashing over their fucking friends house like they ain’t got shit else to do. I mean i know alot of Otaku’s do that type of shit. play video games, stinking up their friends mom’s house with crunchy toes and all. actually that’s pretty rude.

i mean i know i’m kinda rude and everything but even I have a little respect for myself. LOL.

anyway, back to Yo. So his mom left some brownies upstairs for us. so I decided to get one. they were real soft. i took a bite and had an idea. I was going to get Yo. and get him good! ha ha ha. okay, so maybe i didn’t get him as good as he got me, but his mom got him the next day.

So I put brownie all over Yo’s bedroom door knob. I mean alot. i closed his door and went home. laughing and knowing that when he touched it he would think it was shit or something. cuz Yo has a younger brother. So i go to Yo’s house the next day all laughing and he was like “whut whut?”

So I asked him what was the little brown spot on the floor in his room. He was like whatever man. you didn’t get me. But the thing is, i know I got that fucker. he was trying to play it off and shit.

So this morning Yo calls me up all crazy. ‘guess what I found in my room man?’ i am like “whut? shit?’ he’s like ‘nope’. kinda laid back but not his normal laid back self. So i get to getting curious and shit because he isn’t acting “normal”

so he says, “I found a bloody pad in my room on my pillow. i think the cat drug it out the garbage and put it on my pillow. he ripped it up a little so there was blood and pad-cotton on my bed.’

My eyes got big like… damn, that’s nasty as hell. whatever. So I try not to think about his mom on her period and shit. i mean, that’s kinda personal and i kinda wish he never told me. When I went by this afternoon, I felt strange as hell at his house. i mean his mom was on her period and i knew it. she kept looking at me weird and i tried not to look at her. Finally she said. ‘did Yo tell you about a maxi pad?” all sweet and shit.

i didn’t think Yo would say “Hey mom I found your pad on my pillow.” i just shook my head and she was like… “he did didn’t he.” her face turned really red, so i got scared as hell. But she starts to laughing like a loon and now i am like “whut whut?’ LOL!!!

She was trying to talk but she couldn’t breathe and what not. finally she starts to catch her breath and goes to the fridge and pulls out a jar of beets. she said she poured it on the pad and ripped it up a little…. she was laughing so hard. when I finally understood, i was laughing my fucking head off too. Yo didn’t tell her about the pad, she just knew because she set it up . that’s what his stupid ass gets.

So I tell him what she said before I go and he is mad as hell. his mom said it was cool. so we are laughing at his ass, and laughing and laughing and laughing.

Yeah YO, maybe I didn’t get your ass but your mom did! LOL!!!! Now stop playing this stupid ass death note trap game and think of something better. Like building a real robot or something. shit.

on a side note: I found 791 sites with the name Otaku in it’s web-name. that’s some fucked up shit. and no i didn’t cout it and shit. all you do its google, go to the last page in the search. and look at the top. not the thousands number, but the smaller one. I don’t know what else to call this girl. I wanted to call her a female Japanese rapper, but the more I listen to her it isn’t that exactly. How the hell would I know? Believe it or not not all American Otaku’s listen to J-Pop all the time. Actually I dun know if I like the shit that much. To be honest, i am just not the type of person to like EVERYTHING JUST BECAUSE IT IS JAPANESE. I am an otaku because I obsess over certain things and have an extensive knowledge about whatever it is that I obsess about.

I know that in Japan the term is not used so generically, and, it doesn’t have a great meaning either. If I was in Japan and said I was an Otaku, I think people would thumb their fucking nose at me. yeah, so just because I say I am an Otaku, I like to keep this in mind. If I was in Japan I would be probably somewhat of an Anime and Manga Otaku as opposed to a computer Otaku or like Yo, who likes a lot of anime, but if you ask him something about skateboarding he could tell you from A-Z about skateboarders the history and the physics and shit like that. (I get bored listening to him when he starts to go through all that shit).

So I listen to Rap a lot, a bunch of different rock music (Linkin Park would be the top one) and some R & B. So the more I listen to her she has this R & B feel with this Rap feel. But hell, I dun know what the fuck she is saying so I dun know if she is really rapping or singin or what. she could be saying F you Shin.

Anyway the beats are fly as hell tho. so I listen to it and shit. I was trying to find out how to download it from some where but it seems her album is on lock down. Shit. So I gotta buy it when it comes out. So maybe this post isn’t as glamorous or as fun as my others… so fucking what? we all have boring days sometimes. Well I did go to this Anime meeting at Columbia College to check out those dudes. But you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to read that post.

So I found out something interesting yesterday. and something crazy happened to me today. But i’ll start off with the the thing that happened yesterday then go on to the thing that happened today.

So yesterday I go over to my friend “Yo” house. you know that crazy ass dude that almost killed me with his stupid ass Death Note trap. Well I have found out that yes, he is indeed Kira, but not the first Kira…. no, he is the second Kira. Nah he isn’t in love with me or nothing like that. I just found out how dumb he really is. (Yo you know I think you are really super cool tho so don’t get all super sans on me and shit).

So Yo set up a new trap in his room. You know those plastic things you put on the floor so that your chair can roll on it easier? Well those things have some sharp ass points on the opposite side to keep it in place on your carpeting. This dumb ass puts it on the side of his bed, and on the other side of the white shoe string. He thought I would come over and step over the got damned shoestring only to step on the sharp ass plastic. But Yo isn’t all he thinks he is. He told me he woke up in the morning and forgot he had put the damned thing there (yeah, he was going to try to get his mom with it too she would have been pissed.) So he got out of the bed and stepped on it. he was half sleep so he couldn’t get off of it fast enough and was stepping all over the thing, hurting the hell outta his feet. He finally fell over on the bed in agony.

I laughed my head off. That’s what the ass gets for trying to get me and his mom again!

But, I am not such a glorious thinking person either. I go over to his house this morning to take a picture of the damned thing. but I started talking on my cell phone, arguing with this crazy ass lady (it’s a long story and boring so details are not needed). So when I get off the phone I am so fucking mad. I forgot about the whole plastic thing on the floor and stepped over the fucking shoe string and what do you know, I stumbled all around like a git and my feet felt like i was walking on fat thumb tacks. I can’t believe how bad it hurt. At first Yo looked at me all crazy, he was caught between laughing and “oh shit, shin’s already mad.” but I was laughing and mad at the same time. felt crazy, and it was stupid of me so it made it all the more funny.

Now tho, I am going to talk to his mom and we are going to plot against him. He deserves it seriously. So yeah, he is Kira number II because Kira would have never fell on his own trap… but you know the more I think about it, the more I think he might have set it up just to get outta trouble or something. We all know how slick Light can be. But still, I dun think he ever imagined that I would forget about the thing. Yeah, I stick by my first statement. Yo… you are Kira II (misa) and not Kira I.

Too bad for my dumb ass it was kanji…. chinese and not japanese. people may wonder…. what the hell is the difference. well, there is not so much difference in what it means, but there is a world of difference in the way it is pronounced. anyway, I go inside the resuturant and start taking pictures. chinese japanese… who cares, it looked cool either way.

The Asian restaurant manager seemed happy as hell that I was snapping pictures. Yea, i asked him in advance. but the owners of the restaurant were like “EXCUSE ME YOU CAN’T TAKE PICTURES IN HERE.” looking at me like I was some kinda corporate takeover lunatic. I thought “why the hell would I waste my times taking pictures. hell i would come here everyday and memorize the got damned place if I wanted to copy it.” But people don’t think about all that. I guess they think people are dumb as hell and can’t remember shit. I mean, I know most people can’t remember shit but if someone is planning to take over a company or copy it, you would at least think they have more brain power than to snap pictures out in the open…. hell, they’d hire some architects to hang out at the place and probably draw it as they sit and eat some of the chinese food.

anyway, I tell him I am just taking pictures because the machine is cool and it is for my blog… i said something like that real nice. But he still was looking really crazy. So I took a couple more pictures like “whatever” and left.

I dunno why I had to have these dumb ass pictures. But I wanted them. so here they are. and oh, the restaurant? Is called Wow Bao. I guess there are only 2 of them in chicago. I haven’t eaten there yet but I will in the future even if the owners seem a wee bit sensitive. the food looks good and the design is pretty clean.

I dun know if it was worth it to get looked at all funny… maybe I should have taken a picture of the guy. it would have been more interesting

people wonder what Otaku’s do for a good night out. OUT not in the house watching hentai. So a couple of friends and I went out to Tokyo 21. yeah, we go eat sushi and pretend that we are in Tokyo like some dumbasses.

The place we go to, Tokyo 21 is in the heart of chicago’s hoe district. Hoe whaaaaaaaaaaaat? yeah, as the bartender who works next door at some spanish tapas bar club thing place said “it’s like a fuckin Fanta commercial.” indeed it is. I saw some ugly as chicks all jazzed up with makeup and maybe only a strip of a got damned towel for clothes. And the dudes are all shoulder padded with these cheap ass suits pretending that they got all the money in the world. yeah, they might be driving beamers but the beamer probably belongs to their mama. haha!

anyway, Tokyo 21 is a pretty smooth place. they have signs that says beware of Perverts. and they also have a sign that says *looking for a japanese girlfriend* I always wondered about that sign. why the hell would you need to say that you are looking for a Japanese girlfriend unless you are a douche bag. If you wear the shirt just cuz it looks cool as hell and noboby ould know what the hell it says…. that’s alright I suppose. But if you are wearing it hoping that some Japanese girl will come up to you and say “I’ll be your girlfriend” Then you are a complete dumbass. And I would say beware of the girl who likes you because of that shirt.

Anyway. Tokyo 21 is cool. They have the usual maki and sushi rolls. But they also have some appetizers like fried calamari that comes with two different sauces. They have dinner plates to. I think Katsu chicken is one of them, but hell, usually I start off with Sake and beer so I dun give a damn what I am eating, all I do is order soemthing with cream cheese because it is good as hell. I probably sound like a dumb ass… whatever.

So we shoot the shit most of the night, until this one *rapper dude* starts hitting on one of the girls at the table. the girl is chinese and he starts talking about how he works at some sushi place. he seemed cool. But then I started to get the impression that he was one of those *gotta have an asian chick* Otaku. he knew nothing about anime… not saying that he had to, but still… So he tells her to go to his myspace and she was like …”um… sure” I know the moment that ummmmm crept in there he might as well cry double waterfall tears, she wasn’t ever to go to his page.

so we moved over to the bar area. why, well since Tokyo 21 is in the clubbin district, the music they play is not only loud as hell. But it is also annoying as hell. it is typical american dance music. So it takes you out of the atmosphere of Tokyo and reminds you that you are still in chicago with the fanta girls and the boys who wear *tag* thinking a bevvy of girls (not to mention the dudes probably all wear I want a japanese girlfriend T-shirt under their shoulder padded suit) will chase them.

So we drink more, watch some of that T.V, show where the Japanese dudes are completing obstacle courses to win prizes, and try to talk about anime above all the crazy music. It was fun tho. So an Otaku’s night out? Is at a Sushi place, where we can romanticize about being in Tokyo… even if the place isn’t owned by Japanese.

So where is Tokyo 21?  it’s somewhere around weed street.  parking is a bitch, and you can’t see the street for all the skanks that hang out around there.  But it’s worth it for a great time chillen.  I give it a A-.  due to the fact that the music was just too got damned annoying

so death note is really big here in the states right now. i guess it is in part due to the fact that both of the main characters happen to be super smart so it SEEMS like a smart manga. what i can’t understand about the manga is this. the shinigami didn’t know who the hell was going to find the ‘death note’. so, light the smartest dude ever found it. and of course L is uber smart to. so it’s a battle of the wits. whats the odds that something like that would ever happen. yeah, i know it’s a manga and people would be like.. “what the fuck, get over it Shin… it”S NOT REAL!!!!!!” but you know what, that dun mean i can’t point it out do it? so I say kiss my ass if you don’t like that I am pointing out the most obvious thing in the whole series. oh, i guess the other obvious thing is the fact that Light didn’t freak out to much when the shinigami showed up. if that was me, I’d be screaming my fucking head off if i saw a thing that had no eyelids and was always smiling like a damned clown. and of course all these things lead to us stupid ass american otaku’s thinking that japanese peoples would be okay with seeing something like that. in fact, there are probably people out there right now believing that shinigamis are out there floating around somewhere. and for that matter, that someone is trying to get us. someone like L.

i have this crazy ass friend named “Yo”. he belongs to the animefood.com forum site. he is really cool though, but since he is an Otaku, he does some weird shit. i mean really. that’s not to say i don’t do weird shit. but he almost killed me when I was over his house abut two days ago.

when I came over i was chillin in his house upstairs, talking to his folks and all cuz they are pretty nice. but the guy doesn’t come upstairs so i start wondering the the fuck could he be doing down there. I am his company and all. So i keep talking to his folks and finally I am like “shit, i should go down stairs.’ but I dun say it out loud. i dun think his parents would like that.

so i go downstairs and he is laying in his bed with his eyes closed. It looks like he is sleepin! so I walk into the room more and tripped over a shoestring tied really tight to a chair and his bed. i almost fell and broke my got damned neck! grrrrrrr. so you know what the ass starts to do. he is laughing his head off at me. and he says ‘how do you like my little trap i set up for my parents. it’s like light from death note you know..”

really, all i could do was stare at him. i wanted to kill him. my neck my arm and my leg was in pain. IN pAIN!!!! still, it was funny as hell tho. me falling all over the floor like a dip shit cuz i triped over a white shoe string. the crazy thing is, is that if I had looked down i would have saw it. My friend wears those skate shoes. so the shoe string wasn’t exactly the smallest thing in the universe.

so i go home still thinking about the shit when he calls me the next day and tells me he set a different trap cuz his mom tripped over the thing and almost broke her head. he is such an idiot. but i can’t wait to find out if she will kill him for his next crazy trap.

But i do have something to say to Yo. dude, you are not Light. and everyone else is not L. because I am light got damn it. and i got a death note to prove it! *writes down president bush’s name in it and turns on CNN waiting for the mother fucker to keel over* But if he is an alien like my other Otaku friends say, then I guess he won’t die. damn………

Death Note

for those of you who dun know a damned thing about death note. it’s this awesome manga about a boy who finds this note. if he writes someone’s name in it they will die. the shinigami is a death god who dropped the note on earth so that a wayward human could find it so he could watch the drama unfold of what would happen if a human had the power to control peoples death. L is a detective dude who is like uber smart as hell too. he is a kid like Light. he is on the case trying to figure out who is killing people and how. he doesn’t know about the death note but he knows the manner by which people are dying is not normal.

I like the manga. i am not so good at reviewing shit. so read it for your damned self. if I gave it a grade it would be A+.

and yeah, all the stories in this blog is real. but i don’t always out everyone’s real name tho.
